Take a classic New England-y nautical canvas tote and add a hand painted portrait of your pet. Now swap out the tired old monogram for complimentary hand scripted embroidery done with a reproduction vintage chainstitch machine. BOOM!  You have a Maker / Scholar tote bag and you're ready to start getting all the compliments. 

How it works: 

• Choose a few important things about your bag:
  • How you'd like your text displayed (painted or embroidered for an additional $10
  • The number of pets on your bag
• Purchase your bag!  At checkout, make sure to opt in to receiving emails
• After checkout, you'll receive a link to fill out a form that will let you upload a photo of your pet and choose your bag straps color (your options for the small bag include red, green, or navy straps)
• 3-4 weeks later, you'll receive shipping information for your completed bag

We will do our best to honor special requests, but cannot promise specific embroidery colors and your illustration will be limited to the photo you send. I cannot necessarily add / subtract accessories or other elements of your photo. Because of the work that goes into each bag and the custom nature of each order, refunds / returns are not possible. Please make sure you have taken a look at example bags that I've painted to make yourself familiar with my style of painting.
